Thought we would give Thompson's a try. Honest opinion is that this is the BEST firewood we have tried. Wood burns for a long time and gives off an amazing heat. Oh and the Customer service is second to none. Thompson's have a new regular customer.

Thompson's firewood, i wouldn't recommend them.....i would HIGHLY recommend them. The best logs in the district as far as we are concerned. Used them for a while now, prompt delivery always. So, if you want clean, dry, cut to size logs there's only one company that i recommend and thats THOMPSON'S FIREWOOD. Give em a call you will not regret it.

We have used Chris and Jodie's logs for many years. Unlike some of the rubbish which is being sold - which is damp and unseasoned, if not wet, these logs are properly kiln dried and both their quality and size excellent for using in our large wood burner. Consequently, when it comes to the yearly visit of the chimney sweep there is little, if any, soot in the flue, no tar, and, after a fire, just ash left in the grate. The requested logs are always delivered promptly and, in collecting the large white delivery bags/sacks to re-use, this firm does what other much larger concerns fail to do in terms of re-cycling.

I don't want to recommend Thompson's too highly as I don't want other customers to buy all their wood. However, I have to say that their service is brilliant and their wood of very high quality, to the extent that it will be our go-to for firewood in the future. Do use Thompson's but please leave some for me!

I recently ordered a bag of logs from Thompson's Firewood and I was very pleased with the service I received. Chris and Jodie were friendly and delivered the logs right where I needed them! The quality of the logs was excellent too, I highly recommend them!

We're so sorry that Mellisa had a bad experience with us but I have to say that as far as we're aware we only have two customers named Melissa and are both happy customers. Switched to Thompson's recently. Had a problem getting the fire to start so dropped them an email asking for advice. Jodie called back within the hour, during the evening, and was so helpful. She explained why we were struggling to light our fire and sorted us out. Not often firms offer this level of customer service these days! Truly impressed and very pleased we switched to Thompson's. When we had problems with the wood from another local firewood delivery service we turned to Thompson's. The quality of their wood is always spot on. Jodi has been extremely helpful and always returns calls. She's gone out of her way to manoeuvre the bag of wood in our tricky garage. Thank you so much for your help, good quality of wood and excellent service. Highly recommend.
